Barney was bought the same year we purchased half of the Spring Creek Red Angus herd. Barney was already proven and had the ability to produce performance with moderate birth weight. Bulls out of Barney are admired for there ability to go out and breed cows covering ground in big pastures.
We used Burt on heifers in 2014. He is our best Tradin Stock son to date very excited to see what he produces for us. He has calving ease with unmatched muscle and fleshing ease. Highest performance in the 2013 bull group.
Trading Stock aka Whiskey Barrel is an Embryo transplant calf out of the carcass matriarch 560 at the 5L Ranch in Montana. This cow produces calves with above average marbling and rib eye without sacrificing back fat. This is a difficult combination to come across. His sire Tradesman was known for his produces females and we are glad that he passed that trait on to our Tradin Stock. We refer to him as Whiskey Barrel because he has the spring of rib needed to gain well on grass he will be fat even in the tough times.
His first daughters are milking and definitely worth taking
a look at.
